2. Complete the sentences with definitely, definitely not or perhaps.
1. It's brown and it's got a long neck so it's definitely not a giraffe.
2. My sister's eating a pizza. Perhaps she's hungry.
3. This small red insect is definitely an ant or maybe it's a fly.
4. I'm definitely not going to school tomorrow. It's closed!
5. The doctor says perhaps my elbow is broken or maybe it's just injured badly. Either way I need to go to hospital.

GRAMMAR
3. Complete the sentences with these words.
1. Everybody's wearing a jumper today. It must be cold.
2. I've got a cough, a sore throat and a headache. I might have a cold.
3. That boy has given his dad a present. It might be his birthday or perhaps he's saying ’Thank you'.
4. You've been swimming, played a match and run to the shops. You must feel tired.
5. My sister is laughing loudly. She can't have a headache.
6. Nobody lives in that house. It hasn't got any windows. You can't live there.
7. My teacher is opening the door of that house with some keys. He could live there.
8. That boy isn't eating anything. He must be hungry.
4. Complete the second sentence so that it means the same as the first sentence. Use must, can't and might and between one and three words.
1. His arm must be broken. He can't move it.
2. John hasn't come to school today. He must be ill.
3. You must know my sister. She's in your class.
4. That animal might be a parrot.
