Pierre Bouvier is the lead singer of the Simple Plan pop-punk band. He was born in Montreal, Canada, on 9 May, 1979. He has two brothers, Philippe and Jacques. Bouvier was interested in soccer first. However, his love for music grew much stronger. He took guitar lessons and then, at the age of 15, he took guitar lessons. Bouvier's first band was called Reset, which he started with his friend Marc-Andre Drouin. However, he was not happy with him, so Pierre left the band in 1999. After that, he met Chuck Comeau at a Sugar Ray concert and they formed a new band named Simple Plan. Today they have six studio albums and millions of people enjoy listening to their songs.
