When spring is here, the world is new.

When autumn’s here, there’s wind and rain It’s time to stay indoors again.
When winter comes, the world is white Snow is such a lovely surprise.

The birds come back in spring. Flowers grow in spring and summer. It is hot in summer.
Some birds fly south in autumn.
It rains a lot in autumn.
The wind blows in autumn.

28th August
6 a.m. The fog is still quite thick but it is clearing up as the sun is hiding from behind the mountains.
7a.m. It's completely clear now. The birds are singing and a slightly chilly wind is blowing.
8 a.m. The hun is shining and there isn't a single cloud in the sky.
1 p.m. There are lots of clouds in the sky now. The sun is rising behind them.
3 p.m. The storm has begun and all of a sudden it is pouring with rain. You can hardly hear anything else.
4p.m. It isn’t raining any more. The sky is clear and the sun has come out again.

My favourite season is summer. I like hot weather when I can wear skirts and shorts. Summer is the time to play outdoors. The weather is hot. Sometimes it is very hot. It seldom rains. The hot wind often blows.

In winter it's snowy, cold and freezing. Thei’e are a lot of snow on streets. The temperature is below zero. I like winter because everything asSvhite. People usually wear coats, fur coats, hats and boots. It’s time to play outdoors, sledge, skate and ski.
In spring it's raining and windy. It’s warm. The temperature is about 10 degree above zero. People usually wear raincoats and rubber boots. It is time to plant flowers.
In summer it's hot and sometimes it’s very hot. It is the hottest season in the year. The temperature is about 30 degree above zero. People usually wear shorts and T-shirts. Many people like to have holidays in summer. It is time to have a rest, to swim and to sunbathe.
In autumn it often rains. It is cloudy. The sun is not so bright as in summer. Days get shorter and the nights longer. The temperature is about 10 degree above zero. It is time of multicoloured leaves.

4. Why do stars look very small? | a. Big things look little when they are far away. |
5. Where can we find water on the Earth? | d. It is in oceans and rivers, in plants and animals, even in us. |
6. Is there any water in the air? | f. If there were not any water in the air we would not know what is rain or snow. |
