A. Match the words to the descriptions.

D. Read the prompts and the adjectives given. Write sentences that you believe are true, using as- as or not as- as.
1. Car is not as fast as train.
2. Reading a book is as exciting as watching a film.
3. Surfing is as challenging as karate.
4. Doing homework is not as relaxing as watching TV.
E. Complete the second sentence so that it has a similar meaning to the first sentence, using the word given. Do not change the word given. You must use between two and five words including the one given.

2. Edward bought his laptop three years ago. I bought my laptop two years ago. Henry bought his laptop last week.
