A book review is when someone writes their opinion about a book. It usually talks about the story, the characters, and whether the book is good or not.
Book reviews are helpful because they help you decide if you want to read a new book. You can learn what the book is about and see if other people liked it before you start reading.

I've just read a really funny novel called The Humans. It was written by English author Matt Haig. I recently read Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone by J. K. Rowling, and I really enjoyed it. The main character is Harry Potter, a boy who discovers he is a wizard and goes to Hogwarts School. There he makes new friends and has many exciting adventures.
I like this book because the story is magical and easy to follow. The characters are interesting, and there is always something happening. It made me want to keep reading.
In my opinion, this book is great for young readers who enjoy fantasy. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.
