1. Who or what makes you angry?
I get angry when people are rude or when someone lies to me. I also don't like when people don't listen during a conversation.
2. When and why do you have arguments?
I sometimes argue when I feel stressed or when someone misunderstands me. Arguments also happen when people don't agree on something important.
3. When do you like being on your own?
I like being on my own when I need to relax or think. Sometimes I enjoy quiet time after a busy day.
4. How do you have fun? Who with?
I have fun by watching movies, playing games, or going for walks. I usually do these things with my friends or family.
5. What do you have in common with your best friends?
We have similar interests. We like the same music, enjoy sports, and have the same sense of humour. We also trust and support each other.

4. What advice would you give to each person?
Kaitlin: Don't worry about being on your own. There is nothing wrong with it - sometimes everyone needs time alone. Just be yourself and real friends will come.
Dylan: Try to talk to your brother seriously and explain that your things are private. You can also ask your parents to help make some rules. Alex: Tell your parents honestly that you understand why they were upset. Explain that you were just having fun with your friends and promise to be more responsible. If they see you trying, they will trust you more.

1. Read the examples. Then complete the rules.
a. We use have to and to talk about rules and things that are necessary.
b. We use mustn't when something isn't allowed by a rule.
c. We use don't have to when something isn't necessary. We use didn't have to when something wasn't necessary in the past.
d. We use had to for rules in the past.
e. Remember: You mustn't go. = You aren't allowed to go. You don't have to go. - It isn't necessary for you to go.
2. Make two sentences for each idea. Compare your answers.
1. Things you don't have to do at school
You don't have to wear a uniform (if your school doesn't require one).
You don't have to bring your own textbooks because the school gives them to you.

You must tidy your room every week.

I usually get on well with friendly and open - minded people. I also get along with those who are honest, have a good sense of humour, and respect others' opinions.
2. How should friends look after each other?
Friends should support each other during difficult times and celebrate the good moments together. They should listen, give honest advice, keep each other's secrets, and make time for each other when it really matters.
4. In pairs, put your sentences and Student B's sentences in the correct order to form a story. Don't look at each other's sentences. Read the story together and check.
