Write a story for a school magazine about something that happened during a school trip or a day out. It could be funny, embarrassing, scary, etc.
A Funny Day at the Museum
Last spring, our class went on a school trip to the city museum. It was a sunny Tuesday, and we were all very excited. I was with my best friends, (name 1 ) and (name 2). We wanted to learn about history, but something unexpected happened!
When we were walking through the dinosaur section, (friend’s name) tried to make us laugh by pretending to be a T-Rex.
Hc/Shc put his/her arms close to the chest and made funny sounds. Suddenly, he/she bumped into a big display and almost knocked
over a dinosaur model! Everyone gasped, and our teacher, (teacher’s name), looked shocked.
Luckily, the dinosaur didn’t fall. The museum guide helped, and we all said sorry. After that, we had to stay very quiet. We continued the tour, but we couldn’t stop giggling.
In the end, nothing was broken, and we learned many interesting facts. I felt embarrassed, but also happy, because it became a memory I will never forget. It was a funny and unforgettable school trip!
