The ninth form is an important link in the educational system of Ukraine because the ninth formers get the Certificate of Basic Secondary Education. It is the last year of middle-school education and it means the pupils have had great experience in studying different subjects. The pupils become mature enough to choose their way in the future life.

The secondary school education is very important and significant for every person in our country.

My School
I’d like to tell you about my school. It is school number 150, which is situated in 73 Svobody ave. My school is not new but it is modern and I like it. It has three floors. The classrooms are light and spacious. There are about 50 classrooms at school. There are some classrooms for different subjects, such as English, History, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geography, Biology and Literature.
There is a computer class in our school. We study computer science here. The computer class has the most modern equipment. We’ve also an assembly hall, which is situated on the first floor. Meetings, conferences, concerts, shows and all the celebrations take place here every year. Our school has a gym, a sports ground and a football field. There is a library and a medical room in our school. The school has a nice canteen where we can have delicious food.
The pupils of my school study different subjects such as Ukrainian, Ukrainian Literature, Maths, Physics, History, Geography, English and others. I like English best of all. I am good at Maths and Physics, but am bad at Geography. I have six or seven lessons per day. The pupils of my school have to much homework every day. Many pupils of my school have extracurricular activities. They attend sport clubs and study circles with great pleasure.
The teachers in our school are very professional, skilled and experienced. They try to give us all their knowledge and awake our interest to their subjects and to self study. Besides the school subjects, our teachers tell us about everything, about different problems of our world, such as ecology, nature protection and climate changes. All the pupils of our school are friendly, cheerful, intelligent, clever, generous and helpful.
I am happy to study at my school. I like my school very much and I’m proud to be its pupil and I wouldn’t like to change anything in it.
