The school has three storeys. My English classroom is on the second floor. I attend school from Monday to Friday. My favourite days at school are Tuesday and Friday because we have English and Physical Education. I like my school because the teachers are kind and helpful.

1. Look at the timetable at school and say which subjects the students study.
History, English, Foreign Literature, Ukrainian Literature, Biology, Sport, Art, Geography, The Ukrainian Language, Handicrafts, Maths, Computer Studies, Music.
2. Tell how many times a week the students have English, Computer
Studies, Geography, Biology.
English - three times a week. Computer Studies - once a week.
Geography - twice a week. Biology - twice a week.
3. Say how many times a week you have: a) History, Foreign literature, Ukrainian literature, the Ukrainian language and Music; b) your favourite subjects.
History - once a week.

Ukrainian Literature - twice a week.
The Ukrainian Language - twice a week.
Music - once a week.
My favourite subjects are English and Computer Studies. I have English three times a week and Computer Studies once a week.
4. Look at the timetable in exercise 1 again. In pairs ask and answer questions.
What time do students have English on Monday? - They have English from 9.55 till 10.40.
What time do students have Biology on Monday? - They have Biology from 12.45 till 13.30.
What time do students have Maths on Thursday? - They have Maths from 9.55 till 10.40.
What time do students have Computer Studies on Thursday? - They have Computer Studies from 10.50 till 11.35.
What time do students have Sport on Tuesday? - They have Sport from 9.00 till 9.45.
5. Listen to the text and answer the questions in full sentences.
At what age do students in the UK start primary school? - Students in the UK start primary school at the age of 5.
Name three subjects that are common in schools in both the UK and Ukraine. - Three subjects that are common in schools in both the UK and Ukraine are English, Math and History.
Are school uniforms common in both the UK and Ukraine? - School uniforms are common in the UK, but not all schools in Ukraine require them.
